Location ... Where is Norway? The Google map at right is interactive; you can zoom in for more detail, or zoom out to get a larger view of the area.  Iron Mountain is about 10 miles to the west, and Escanaba is about 50 miles to the east.  We’re about 100 miles north of Green Bay. How to Find the Museum From Norway:  Drive west on US 2 from town. After passing under the railroad overpass, take the first access road to your left (across from the Norway spring). Turn left again on to US 2 eastbound toward Norway. Go under the railroad overpass. Turn right at the first road (about 100 yards beyond the overpass). From Iron Mountain:  Drive east on US 2 toward Norway. Go under the railroad overpass. Turn right at the first road (about 100 yards beyond the overpass).
The Old Miner Legend has it that an old miner still haunts the area, stopping in at various places in town.  He never speaks, only listens. He has occasionally been spotted at the museum, and one of our staffers actually captured him on camera one day ...
This will show you where we are; this map will be relocated to a separate page as the site is expanded. GPS coordinates are:   45°47'36.78"N   87°55'32.64"W
